You can visit Gardone’s old town starting from the Grand Hotel up to the small square named after Wimmer and then along the charming promenade, open only to pedestrians, with inns, hotels, ice cream parlous and gardens overlooking it.
Among the many villas in Gardone worthy of note are: Villa Fiordaliso, the residence of Claretta Petacci, Mussolini's lover, Villa Paradiso, a beautiful hotel transformed into an exclusive beauty farm and Villa Alba, a Neoclassical style residence surrounded by the city park and currently used as a congress centre.
